The G&G PDW15 CQB is an airsoft assault rifle inspired by the design of the iconic Honey Badger PDW (Personal Defence Weapon). G&G PDW-15 CQB “Honey Badger” The Honey Badger PDW was originally developed by AAC (Advanced Armament Corporation). It was specially designed for SOCOM units to replace various CQC weapons including the MP5. The intention was to create a rifle that exhibited the ease of use of an AR-15 but with the added portability of an MP5. Following the acquisition of AAC by Remington Defence, the Honey Badger narrowly failed to attain the SOCOM Low Visibility Assault Weapon contract. It was beaten out by SIG Sauer’s MCX variant (known informally as the Black Mamba). In 2016, the Honey Badger was resurrected for the commercial market by Q LLC and reintroduced with various improvements. The G&G PDW 15 is styled on this ground-breaking AR.
